We want to welcome you to our new blog. We are writing this as we complete our Kids for Peace board retreat at Manzanita Village.
The retreat was inspiring, productive, relaxing, and very enjoyable. We not only contributed our finances, spirit and enthusiasm, but our experience and expertise in each of the following areas: Development, Special Events, Outreach/Communications, and Programs. One of the best parts was the RE-Creation of our Mission: To cultivate every child's innate ability to foster peace by cross-cultural experiences and hands-on arts, service and environmental projects. Other members will be posting their experiences here. I wanted to start it off by posting some photos I took of this magnificent retreat center just to get the ball rolling. CBillmeyer
